Stress Awareness Month

Picture
Featured in Canadianinsulin.com. "There are many reasons it’s important to lower your stress levels. For one, stress releases hormones such as adrenaline and cortisol in the body that increase your breathing and heart rate. Furthermore, an extended period of stress can keep these chemical levels high for a prolonged amount of time which can lead to high blood pressure and inflammation."
